Windows 95 FTP Area Reorganized

We have reorganized the Win_News area on ftp.microsoft.com.  Although this is a 
temporary reorganization (since the entire Microsoft FTP site will eventually be 
reorganized), we will continue with the same directory structure
that we outline below.  We're doing this to ensure consistency with the
Windows 95 world wide web page (www.microsoft.com/windows) and all other online services.

We've included the following "bins" for you to get information on Windows 95.
Moving forward, we'll just be updating these areas with new information and 
files.  We will be phasing out all of the other folders in this area besides
the ones below:

Please Note:  We've modified the folder names so there are no spaces in them.

Previous Structure
------------------
All documents on Windows 95 can be found in the docs directory.  These
documents are either in Word 2 or Word 6 format (new docs are all in
Word 6 format).  If you can't read a document because your word processor
doesn't support Word 6 docs, there is a viewer called WORDVU.EXE available
in the /Softlib/Mslfiles directory on this server.

Presentations on Windows 95 can be found in the PPT directory.  These are
Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.  If you cannot read a PowerPoint file,
there is a viewer program also available in the PPT directory.

There is a 3rd directory called Newsltr where you
will find back issues of the WinNews electronic newsletter.  

You may also find miscellaneous files in the main WinNews directory.
For instance, one user sent us some interesting artwork which he
had had drawn on his arm.  You can find that in the file WinTAT.ZIP.
