SUMMARY

If you are trying to open a file from a directory with several files present, you may receive the following error message:
Not Enough Memory to Carry out this Command

Workaround

  1. Reduce the number of files in the directory from which you are trying to open the file.
  2. Open the desired document from the File Manager.

MORE INFORMATION

The file list is maintained in a 10K buffer that is shared with other dialog components. When the 10K buffer is exceeded, the error message will occur.

The number of files it takes to duplicate this problem varies depending on your system configuration and the filename size.
