Domains Allowed on TCP/IP Node Limited by Memory (99591)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft LAN Manager 2.2
This article was previously published under Q99591 SUMMARY
The maximum number of domains supported by a TCP/IP node is limited by
either memory or sessions on the hub.
The limit is calculated this way:
(domains x nodes) x 2 = Sessions used on hub + threads on hub service
If your hub is set up with 80 VCs, then you can have 20 domains on 2 nodes,
or 10 on 3, or 5 on 4, or 1 domain on 40 nodes.
