PRJ: System Date Causes Incorrect Current Date (99585)

When you create a new file in Microsoft Project, the project Start Date,
the Current Date field, and the Gantt Chart timescale may display a date
other than the current date.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when the system clock on your computer has an incorrect
date.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, change the system date on your computer so
that the correct date will be reflected in Microsoft Project.

Microsoft Project obtains the current date, which is displayed in the
Microsoft Project Info dialog box, from the computer's system clock.
