This article was previously published under Q98982 SUMMARY
When you use WinFax 3.0 with Microsoft Excel for Windows, the initial
startup sheet may be in the R1C1 reference style mode.
MORE INFORMATION
The manual for WinFax suggests that you copy one of two macro files to
the XLSTART directory. The files, WINFAX1.XLM and WINFAX2.XLM, are in
R1C1 style. When you copy these files to the XLSTART directory, the
default startup sheet, SHEET1, will open in R1C1 style.
If either of these files is copied to a directory other than the
XLSTART directory, Microsoft Excel will start normally in A1 notation.
To use WINFAX with Microsoft Excel, you will need to open the file
that was moved from the XLSTART directory by choosing Open from the
File menu.
