To print standard business envelopes (Com #10) from the multipurpose (MP) tray of the Hewlett-Packard (HP) LaserJet 4 or 4M, use the settings listed below.

When you print standard business envelopes, use the following guidelines:

If you are printing without a return address, type the mailing address in the upper-left corner of the document.
If a return address is included, type the return address in the upper-left corner of the document. Insert six blank lines between the return address to the mailing address. Set a left indent at four inches before you type the mailing address.
Slide the paper width guide to the left until it lightly touches the right side of the envelope. Feed the envelope face up and stamp end first. For more information on loading envelopes, see pages 3-22 through 3-24 of the "HP LaserJet 4 and 4M Printers User's Manual."
For this printer to pick up envelopes "on the fly" without requiring you to press the printer's ONLINE button to continue with the next envelope, the following options must be set:
