SUMMARY

Third-party TrueType fonts may cause a "Divide By Zero" error in Works for Windows version 2.x when you import a file or change the font.

MORE INFORMATION

To test this problem, disable TrueType fonts by choosing the Fonts icon from Control Panel, selecting the TrueType button, and clearing the Enable TrueType Fonts check box. Note: You must exit and restart Windows for this change to take effect.

It has been verified that the following fonts cause this problem in Works for Windows:

SWFTE TypeCase 1

Pica
Orator
Prestige

SWFTE TypeCase 2

Corporate Mono

If any of the previous fonts are listed in the [fonts] section of the WIN.INI file, place a ";" (without the quotation marks) in front of the line to remove that font. Fonts also may be removed by using the Fonts icon in Control Panel.
