SUMMARY
When you open a database, Microsoft Access remembers the database name
and displays the name in the Recent File List on the File menu. The four
most recently opened databases are displayed on the list. However, if you
delete a database on the list, the Recent File List continues to show it
as a valid database even though it does not actually exist. When you open
other databases, the list is updated, and the deleted file eventually
disappears from the list.
