SNADS: Two Message Headers Viewing Loop Around Message (95017)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Mail Gateway to SNADS 2.1

This article was previously published under Q95017

SUMMARY

If Microsoft Mail sends a loopback message through the Soft*Switch SNADS or LinkAge SNADS Gateway and Microsoft Mail for Windows displays the message, two message headers appear in the message body. Microsoft Mail for MS-DOS displays the message correctly. A Microsoft Mail loopback message is a message sent to the gateway to be routed back to the sender or it is a message composed by another Microsoft Mail user at the other end of the SNADS gateway.
