Spaces Print as Dots with Labels that have a Header Paragraph (94294)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Works 2.0
- Microsoft Windows 3.0
- Microsoft Windows 3.1
This article was previously published under Q94294 SUMMARY
When using a header paragraph and printing labels in Microsoft Works
for Windows, any spaces in the header print as dots on the first page
of the document.
Workarounds
To correct this problem, use a standard header with only one line of
text, or select the No Header on 1st Page check box in the Headers &
Footers dialog box.
Inserting a page break at the top of the document does not work
because it is ignored when printing labels.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem with Works for Windows
version 2.0. We are researching this problem and will post new
information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes
available.
