If graphics inserted into a word processing document in Microsoft
Works for Windows are not displayed, from the View menu, make sure
that Draft View is not selected. If Draft View is selected, a dotted
box the size of the graphic appears on the screen in place of the
graphic. However, the graphic prints and appears in print preview.
To display the graphic, from the View menu, choose Normal or Page
Layout.
NOTE: If the graphic is an Absolute Positioned Object, it will only show up
in Page Layout view
Works for Windows Version 2.x
If graphics inserted into a word processing document in Microsoft
Works for Windows are not displayed, from the Options menu, make sure
that Draft View is not selected. If Draft View is selected, a dotted
box the size of the graphic appears on the screen in place of the
graphic. However, the graphic prints and appears in print preview.
To display the graphic, choose Draft View from the Options menu to
clear the selection.

Draft View affects the display of graphics inserted or copied from
Microsoft Draw, the Works for Windows Chart and the Windows clipboard,
as well as the font used for display. Because it speeds up screen
redraw, it can be used for quick text entry. It does not affect
printing.
