Works Error: "Footer too tall..." or "The footer is too tall..." (93369)

SYMPTOMS

You get the one of the following error messages, depending on your version of the Works.

Works for Windows 4.0, 4.5, and 4.5a

The footer is too tall. Continue?

Works 3.0

Footer too tall: Increase footer margin settings. Continue?

The error occurs when the following Panasonic printer drivers are installed:

   KX-P 2124                1.0

The error message occurs under the following conditions:

Manual Feed or Auto Sheet Feeder is selected as the Paper Source.
A footer or header/footer paragraphs have been entered.
The Print or Print Preview command is selected.

Increasing the footer margin may resolve the problem; but, for example, on the KX-P1124 the margin must be increased to 2.5 inches to eliminate the error message. Tractor must be selected for the Paper Source field to correct the problem.

To eliminate this message, select Tractor as the Paper Source. In Works for Windows 95, this can be done in the Printer Properties dialog box. In Works 3.0, change the source in the Printer Setup dialog.
