To insert the Macintosh Command symbol, follow these steps:

  1. Position the insertion point where you want the Command symbol to appear.
  2. On the Font menu, click to select Chicago.
  3. Press CONTROL+OPTION+Q (CONTROL+Q in Word 5.1 and earlier).
This symbol prints whether the fractional widths setting is on or off.

Some low-memory printers, such as the Apple LaserWriter IIg, may not print Chicago or other TrueType fonts. To work around this limitation, click to select the Unlimited Downloadable Fonts option in the Page Setup Options dialog box (click Page Setup on the File menu).
