SYMPTOMS

When you try to send a message in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003, the message remains unsent in the Outbox folder.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
  1. Start Outlook.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  3. On the Other tab, click Advanced Options.
  4. In the Advanced Options dialog box, click COM Add-Ins.
  5. In the COM Add-Ins dialog box, click ICQ Express, and then click Remove.
  6. Click OK three times, and then restart Outlook.
