SYMPTOMS
When you press the Live TV button on the Media Center remote to watch live TV in Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, or when you press CTRL+T on the keyboard to watch live TV in Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, you see a white screen instead of the expected TV program. You can hear the audio for the TV program. However, you see a white screen instead of the video.
You may experience this problem in the following scenario. You listen to music in My Music with visualizations turned on. Then, you press the Live TV button on the Media Center remote several times to switch to live TV.
You may also experience this problem in the following scenario. You listen to music in My Music with visualizations turned on. Then, you press CTRL+T on the keyboard several times to switch to live TV.
Note You do not experience this problem if you press the Live TV button one time to switch to live TV. Also, you do not experience this problem if you press CTRL+T on the keyboard only one time to switch to live TV. WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, press the Live TV button on the Media Center remote one time to switch to live TV. Alternatively, press CTRL+T on the keyboard only one time to switch to live TV. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
