SYMPTOMS
When you try to move a mailbox from a Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server mailbox store to a different mailbox store, the move mailbox operation is unsuccessful. In this situation, the following Error events are logged in the Application log.

Note In Exchange Server 2003, you use the
Create a Failure Report option to generate a report log. This report is in XML format. This report is saved in the %SYSTEMDRIVE%\Documents and Settings\
profile name\My Documents\Exchange Task Wizard Logs folder.
CAUSE
This problem may occur if the store to which you want to move the mailbox contains a size restriction. Hexadecimal error code 0x4dd from event ID 8506 corresponds to decimal 1245. This decimal value corresponds to the following error from the ec.h file:
ecShutoffQuotaExceeded
This error indicates that the mailbox has reached its quota. This problem occurs if the mailbox that you want to move exceeds the size of the mailbox restriction that is specified for the destination store.
