You export a shape as a Windows Metafile Format (WMF) file or as an Enhanced Metafile Format (EMF) file. Then, you insert that file into a Microsoft Office Visio drawing. When you do this, the bounding box of the shape becomes larger than the original shape. Additionally, you may experience the following symptoms:
- If you ungroup the WMF or EMF shape, the shape does not have the same size of the original shape.
- If the WMF or EMF shape contains text, the font size changes when you ungroup the shape.
WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, follow these steps: - Click the ungrouped shape.
- On the View menu, click Size & Position Window.
- Adjust the width and height to resize the shape.
- Select the text of the ungrouped shape.
- In the Font Size list, select the font size.
