Some categories are missing when you upgrade to Money 2007 Home & Business (923034)

SYMPTOMS

When you convert a Microsoft Money data file from Microsoft Money Essentials or Microsoft Money 2007 Deluxe to Microsoft Money 2007 Home & Business, some of the categories in the list of business categories are missing.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because the file conversion process does not enable your full list of categories.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, enable the full list of categories in Money. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Start Money 2007 Home & Business.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Settings.
  3. Click Category Settings, and then click Show Full Category List.
  4. Click OK when you receive the following message: The standard categories have been added to your list of categories.
  5. Click OK to close the Settings dialog box.
The full list of Money categories is displayed.
