Loan payments are incorrect when you pay multiple loans online in Money (923032)

SYMPTOMS

When you use one of the products that are listed in the "Applies to" section to pay multiple loans online, the payment is incorrectly applied to only the principle.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the calculated payment data is not being used when you send multiple loan payments.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, send one payment at a time. Alternatively, save the payments individually as drafts. Then, send the payments together.

To send one payment at a time

  1. Start Microsoft Money.
  2. Click Bills.
  3. Click the check mark next to one of the loan payments.
  4. Click Pay Online.
  5. Confirm the details, and then click Schedule Payment.

To save all payments as drafts and then send together

  1. Start Money.
  2. Click Bills.
  3. Click the check mark next to one of the loan payments.
  4. Click Pay Online.
  5. Confirm the details, and then click Save as Draft.
  6. Repeat steps 2 through 5 for each loan payment.
  7. When you are ready to send the loan payments, click Send Payments under To Do in the left pane.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
