Antigen incorrectly detects WinZip files as corrupted compressed files (922221)

SYMPTOMSWhen you send an e-mail message that contains a WinZip attachment, Antigen for Exchange or Antigen for SMTP Gateways incorrectly detects the WinZip file as a corrupted compressed file.CAUSEThis problem occurs if the following conditions are true: - The WinZip file is compressed by using the Maximum (enhanced deflate) option in WinZip 9.0.
- The Delete Corrupted Compressed Files option is enabled in Antigen.
WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, disable the Delete Corrupted Compressed Files option in Antigen. To do this, follow these steps: - Use an account that has administrative permissions to log on to the computer that is running Antigen.
- Click Start, and then click Antigen Administrator.
- In the Connect to Server dialog box, click Browse, click the computer to which you want to connect, and then click OK.
- In the Antigen Administrator dialog box, click Settings, and then click General Options.
- In the right-pane, disable the Delete Corrupted Compressed Files option under Scanning.
