SYMPTOMSWhen some or all the invitees first open a workspace that contains a custom Forms tool, they may receive unresolved lookup prompts.MORE INFORMATIONFor more information, select your version of Groove Virtual Office: Groove Virtual Office 3.0e and earlier versions You invite Groove users to a workspace that contains a custom forms tool in Groove Virtual Office 3.0e and earlier versions. If the custom Forms tool has view lookups, those lookups fail. To work around this problem, the designer of the Forms tool must reselect the correct view lookups after the invitees become members of the workspace.Groove Virtual Office 3.0f and later versions of Groove Virtual Office 3.0 Groove Virtual Office 3.0f and later versions of Groove Virtual Office 3.0 include an AutoResolve Lookups feature for end-users. This feature automatically corrects the problem for workspace members who do not have design-level access to the Forms tool. Members who have designer rights still have to manually resolve lookups.Groove Virtual Office 3.1In Groove Virtual Office 3.1, the AutoResolve Lookups feature has been changed to run for both designer and non-designer members in the Forms tool. When AutoResolve Lookups runs, it tries to verify that all the targets for the lookups exist before it opens the Forms tool. If the targets for the lookups exist, you do not have to manually resolve any lookups. However, if a target does not exist, AutoResolve Lookups returns an error message to tell you which item workspace, tool, view, column, or field does not exist. AutoResolve Lookups then prompts you to resolve the issue or lookup.
