SYMPTOMS
Consider the following scenario. You unpack a Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 site to the root folder of the Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) Web site. You try to access the SiteCacheRefresh.axd URL from any of the user interfaces. In this scenario, the following error messages are logged in the Application log:
System.InvalidOperationException: There was an error generating the XML document. ---> System.InvalidOperationException: Instance validation error: '0' is not a valid value for System.Net.HttpStatusCode.

Additionally, you receive error messages that resemble the following when you use Commerce Server Staging (CSS) to access the SiteCacheRefresh.axd URL:

RESOLUTION
Hotfix information
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 service pack that contains this hotfix.
