SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Content Management Server (MCMS) 2002, you may receive the following error message:
Object Expected
You experience this problem when the following conditions are true:
- You render a placeholder in edit mode.
- You change the focus from a Microsoft Internet Explorer browser window to any other open window.
- You rest the pointer on the placeholder, or you click the placeholder.
RESOLUTION
Hotfix information
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next MCMS 2002 service pack that contains this hotfix.
