The Microsoft Dynamics CRM client for Outlook stops responding when you promote an e-mail message (921653)

The hotfix that is discussed in this article is not available for the Chinese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or for the Japanese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

SYMPTOMS

When you promote an e-mail message in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM client for Microsoft Office Outlook, the Microsoft Dynamics CRM client for Outlook stops responding. If you have turned on platform tracing, you also receive an error message in the trace log file that resembles the following error message:
