Issue that the hotfix package fixes

This hotfix package fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
  • When you send an existing e-mail message as an attachment in another e-mail message in Outlook 2003, some of the message headers such as Received and Return-Path in the attached e-mail message may be lost.

To resolve this issue, apply this hotfix. This hotfix will only fix this issue in the attached e-mail message.

Note If the attached e-mail message contains attached e-mail messages, this hotfix will not fix this issue in those attached e-mail messages.
