The New Project Wizard cannot create a metabase project on a computer that is running Commerce Server 2007 (921283)

SYMPTOMSWhen you create a project by using the New Project
Wizard in the Commerce Server Staging (CSS) console, the wizard cannot create a
metabase project on a computer that is running Microsoft Commerce Server 2007.WORKAROUNDTo work around this behavior, use one of the following methods. Method 1: Change the project configuration after you create a new project by using the New Project Wizard- Open the CSS console.
- Right-click the name of the project that the New Project Wizard
created, and then click Properties.
- Click Metabase Deployment,
and then click Advanced.
- Type the Web site name, and then click
OK.
- Click Add, and then type the destination
computer name in the box under End point server.
- Click OK two times to finish the
wizard.
- On the destination
computer, repeat steps 1 through 6.
Method 2: Use the command-line interface (CLI) to create a metabase
projectType the following commands at a command prompt: css addproj projectname website endpoint /metabase
css addproj projectname website /server endpoint /metabase Note The endpoint placeholder
represents the destination computer name. STATUS
