SYMPTOMS
When you resume a computer that is running Microsoft Windows XP Starter Edition from standby, and you then quickly put the computer back on standby, you may receive a Stop error message that resembles the following:
Stop Error: 0xC0000244 {Audit Failed} (0000040b, 00000000, 00000000, 00000000) WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, do not put the computer back on standby until at least 30 seconds have passed since you resumed the computer from standby.STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.MORE INFORMATIONWhen you wait at least 30 seconds after you resume the computer from standby, the Windows operating system and other software has time to completely resume.
