How to remove a scan engine from Microsoft Antigen Enterprise Manager 9.0 (920843)

You may want to remove a scan engine from the Antigen Enterprise Manager 9.0 database. To do this, follow these steps:

1. On the computer that is running Antigen Enterprise Manager 9.0, click Start, click Run, type http://localhost/SEMConsole/enginemanagement.aspx, and then click OK.
   
   Note This URL is a hidden URL. Therefore, you must access it manually.
2. In the Manage Engines Web page that appears, click to select the check box that corresponds to the scan engine that you want to remove, and then click Remove Engines.
3. On the Delete Engine Web page that appears, click Confirm.

Note After you follow these steps, the scan engine is removed from the Antigen Enterprise Manager 9.0 database. However, the scan engines for which you are licensed in Microsoft Antigen 9.0 for Exchange or in Microsoft Antigen 9.0 for SMTP Gateways are not affected.
