The FBAGetComputerName entry in the Fbalog.txt file in Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs is incomplete (920317)

SYMPTOMS

You run the Setup program to install Microsoft Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs on a computer. However, after you do this, the FBAGetComputerName entry is incomplete in the Fbalog.txt file. You expect to see a FBAGetComputerName entry that resembles the following:

ComputerName: ComputerName-Eiger

Instead, you see the following entry:

ComputerName: ComputerName

CAUSE

This issue occurs because "Eiger" is not appended to the end of the computer name in the FBAGetComputerName entry of the Fbalog.txt file.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
