Internet Explorer redirects you to the home page when you click "Tasks" in Project Web Access (920237)

SYMPTOMS

When you click Tasks in Microsoft Project Web Access, Microsoft Internet Explorer redirects you to the home page. This issue occurs on any page that uses a grid control.

CAUSE

This issue may occur because Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) is damaged.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, reinstall the version of MDAC that is installed on the computer. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Use the Component Checker utility to determine which version of MDAC is installed on the computer. To download the Component Checker utility, visit the following Microsoft Web site:

    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=8F0A8DF6-4A21-4B43-BF53-14332EF092C9

  2. Download and then reinstall the version of MDAC that is installed on the computer. To download the version of MDAC that is installed on the computer, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
