SYMPTOMS

Microsoft Windows for Workgroups Setup may prompt you for a nonexistent drive if you are upgrading a Microsoft Windows 3.1 installation with a Sigma video driver. To successfully upgrade Windows 3.1, change the drive to a valid drive letter and continue the installation.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows for Workgroups version 3.1. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
