Updated phone forward settings may not be displayed on a Windows Mobile-based Smartphone that uses Communicator Mobile (919879)

SYMPTOMS

When you update the work phone forward settings on a Microsoft Windows Mobile-based Smartphone that uses Microsoft Office Communicator Mobile, the updated settings may not be displayed. For example, consider the following scenario:

On the Phones page, you update your work phone forward settings, and then click Done to return to the Options Selection page.
From the Options Selection page, you return to the Phones page.
The updated work phone forward settings are not displayed.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when you do not click Done on both the Options Selection page and the Phones page.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, download and then install the updated version of Communicator Mobile. For information about how to do this, visit the following Microsoft Web site:

Note The version of Communicator Mobile that resolves this problem has a release date of June 23, 2006 or later.
