SYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario. You initiate a "Call Computer" request in Microsoft Office Communicator 2005. You send the request to a recipient who is logged on to a mobile device that is running Microsoft Office Communicator Mobile. The recipient accepts the invitation. However, the call is not established.CAUSEThis problem may occur if your contact information includes your alias information but not a display name. For example, this problem may occur if your contact information includes the alias information johndoe@domain.com but does not include the display name John Doe.RESOLUTIONThis problem is fixed in the update for Communicator Mobile that is dated June 23, 2006.
