When this problem occurs, you may be directed to a Microsoft Web site. You may experience this problem when either of the following conditions is true: - You have upgraded from Microsoft Windows Media Player for Windows XP or from Microsoft Windows Media Player 9 Series to Microsoft Windows Media Player 11 Beta.
- You have upgraded from an earlier version of Microsoft Windows to Microsoft Windows Vista Beta 2.
CAUSEThe license that is associated with an existing piece of content requires a specific Certificate Revocation List (CRL) version that is not present on the system.WORKAROUNDIf you currently subscribe to a content subscription service, download and then play a new piece of content. This method should update the system's CRL.STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
