Multiple events are logged when you enable Web caching and set the FPCCacheConfiguration.QueueRequests COM property to True in ISA Server 2004 (919515)

SYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario.
You enable Web caching on a computer that is running Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2004. You also set the FPCCacheConfiguration.QueueRequests COM property to True.
Note By default, the QueueRequests COM property is set to False on a computer that is running ISA Server 2004.
In this scenario, the ISA Server computer stops responding. Additionally, the following events are logged in the Application log:Event Type: Error Event Source: Microsoft ISA Server Control Event Category: None Event ID: 14079 Date: Date Time: Time User: N/A Computer: ISA2004EE Description: Due to an unexpected error, the service fwsrv stopped responding to all requests. Stop the service or the corresponding process if it does not respond, and then start it again. Check for related error messages.
Event Type: Error Event Source: Microsoft Firewall Event Category: None Event ID: 14057 Date: Date Time: Time User: N/A Computer: ISA2004EE Description: The Firewall service stopped because an application filter module C:\Program Files\Microsoft ISA Server\w3filter.dll generated an exception code C0000005 in address 6477A3A0 when function CompleteAsyncIO was called. To resolve this error, remove recently installed application filters and restart the service.
Event Type: Error Event Source: Microsoft ISA Server 2004 Event Category: None Event ID: 1000 Date: Date Time: Time User: N/A Computer: ISA2004EE

It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 60000 milliseconds: Restart the service.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, install the hotfix that is described in Microsoft Knowledge Base article 919621.

WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, follow these steps: - Set the FPCCacheConfiguration.QueueRequests COM property to False.
- Disable the ISA Server cache.
