How to switch the IDE language in Visual Studio .NET 2002, Visual Studio .NET 2003, or Visual Studio 2005 (919487)

INTRODUCTION

You can install multiple language versions of Visual Studio on the same computer, and then you can switch the language of the IDE between the languages that you install. For example, if you install the Spanish version of Visual Basic 2005 Express on the same computer that is running the English version of Visual Basic 2005 Express, you will have a single version of the IDE.

Switch the Visual Studio IDE language

To switch the Visual Studio IDE language, follow these steps after you have installed two different language versions of Visual Studio 2005 Express.

Start Visual Studio 2005.
On the Tools menu, click Options.
In the Options window, click to select Show all settings.
In the left pane, expand Environment, and then click International Settings.
In the right pane, select the language that you want , and then click OK.

Notes

After you restart the computer and start Visual Studio 2005 Express, the IDE will be in the language that you selected.
