Xbox 360: You experience issues with your active downloads list (919423)

THINGS TO TRY

You experience a delay when you download an item from your active downloads list

1. Sign in to Xbox Live by using only one profile at a time.
   
   Note Sometimes, a download is delayed if you sign in to Xbox Live under multiple profiles and one of those other profiles has the same item in that profile's active downloads list. Downloads are prioritized based on who signed in first. If you have multiple profiles trying to download content, the profile who signed in first will have their list of items downloaded before other profiles. After the items in the first profile's active downloads list have finished downloading, the next profile's active download items will start to download.

A download stops

1. Determine whether you signed in by using a profile that resides on a memory unit.
   
   Note If you remove the memory unit during a download, the item will remain in the active downloads list but the download will stop. Downloads will also stop if you sign out of Xbox Live during a download. The download will automatically restart when you sign back in to Xbox Live.

You receive a download error or the download fails

1. Press the Xbox Guide button to view the details that can explain why you received the error or why the download failed.
2. Try to download the item again at a different time.

You reach the maximum number of items that you can select for download

1. Make sure that at least one item finishes downloading before you add another item to your active downloads list.
   
   Note The maximum number of items that you can add to your active downloads list is six. If you receive an error message that states that you have reached your maximum number of items, you must wait until one item finishes downloading. Or, cancel another item in the active downloads list before you can add another item to the list.
   
   If you try to add another item to your active downloads list when the list is full, you will receive a message that states that your list is full. Additionally, you will return to the content download screen. A check mark will appear next to the item that you tried to add to your active downloads list even though you did not download the item. To download the item, add the item to your active downloads list again when there is room on the list.
