INTRODUCTIONIssues that the hotfix package fixesThis hotfix package fixes the following issue: 918855 The duration of an assignment unexpectedly decreases in Project 2003
This hotfix package fixes the following issues that were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article: - Project 2003 stops unexpectedly when you open a master project if you run a macro that calls the "ViewApply" method in the "Project_Open" event
Consider the following scenario. You create a Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) macro that changes the view of a project when you open the project. The macro calls the ViewApply method in the Project_Open event. You log on to Microsoft Project Server 2003, and then add the macro to the enterprise global template. When you open a master project, Project 2003 stops unexpectedly (crashes). - An incorrect value is returned for the BookingType property of an enterprise resource
You create a VBA macro that retrieves the BookingType property of an enterprise resource. If the Booking Type field of an enterprise resource is set to Proposed, you expect the macro to return a value of 1. If the Booking Type field of an enterprise resource is set to Committed, you expect the macro to return a value of 0 (zero). However, the macro returns an incorrect value for the BookingType property.
For example, you change the Booking Type field of an enterprise resource from Proposed to Committed. When you run the macro, an incorrect value of 1 is returned. - Project 2003 stops unexpectedly when you press F9
You open a project, and then press F9 to perform calculations. However, Project 2003 stops unexpectedly (crashes). Additionally, you receive the following error message:Microsoft Project has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you were in the middle of something, the information that you were working on might be lost.
Please tell Microsoft about this problem. We have created an error report that you can help send to help us improve Microsoft Project. We will treat this report as confidential and anonymous. This problem may occur in scenarios in which baseline information in the project is corrupted. For example, this problem may occur after you perform certain copy and paste operations that involve lots of data.
