The hotfix that is discussed in this article is not available for the Chinese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or for the Japanese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
SYMPTOMS
When you use the
SetFocus function in the
onChange event of a lookup field in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, the function does not appear to work as expected.
For example, this problem may occur when the following code is added to the
onChange event of the
Parent Account field on the Account form:
crmForm.all.websiteurl.SetFocus();
This code should force the focus to the Web site field on the form whenever the value of the
Parent Account field is changed. However, when the code is run, the focus remains on the
Parent Account field.
RESOLUTION
