A documentation error occurs in the German release of Systems Management Server 2003 SP2 Online Library where the Release Notes are in French (918455)

INTRODUCTION

In the Online Library of the German release of Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 Service Pack 2, the SMS Administrators console displays the SMS 2003 Release Notes in French.

MORE INFORMATION

During installation, the French version of the Release Notes files are copied to the default location instead of the German version. This default location is Windows\Help\Sms\00000407\Sms.srv\Htm.

However, The German SMS 2003 Release Notes are copied to the folder to which you extracted the installation files when you ran SMS2003SP2.exe.

The file names of the Release Notes files in the German version of SMS 2003 SP2 are as follows:
  • Readme.htm
  • Readme_operations.htm
