Error message when you run a query in the Health and Activity Tracking tool in BizTalk Server 2006: "An error has occurred in the script on this page" (918320)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006, you may receive an error message that resembles the following when you run a query in the Health and Activity Tracking (HAT) tool:
An error has occurred in the script on this page.
Error: Object doesn't support this property or method.
URL: file://C:\Program Files\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006\Tracking\BRMA\FindMsg.htm

CAUSE

This issue occurs if a value is missing from the registry.

RESOLUTION

Warning Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk.

To resolve this issue, re-create the registry value. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, click Run, type notepad, and then click OK.
  2. Paste the following text in the Notepad document. 
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\CLSID]
@="{0000031A-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}"
  3. On the File menu, click Save.
  4. In the Save as type list, click All Files.
  5. In the Save in list, click Desktop.
  6. In the File name box, type KB918320.reg, and then click Save.
  7. On the File menu, click Exit.
  8. On the desktop, double-click KB918320.reg, and then click Yes to add the value to the registry.
