Error message that is displayed by the ProcessDWJob SQL Server Agent job in System Center Reporting Services 2006: "The system cannot find the file specified" (918009)

SYMPTOMSYou troubleshoot unsuccessful synchronizations from Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 in Microsoft System Center Reporting Manager (SCRM) 2006. When you view the job history of the ProcessDWJob SQL Server Agent job in Microsoft SQL Server 2005, you notice that the job displays the following error message: The system cannot find the file specified. CAUSEThis issue occurs if the SQL Server 2005 Legacy Components were not installed with SQL Server 2005.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, run the SQL Server 2005 Setup program to install the Legacy Components client component.
To do this, follow these steps: - Click Start, point to Control Panel, and then click Add or Remove Programs.
- In the Currently installed programs list, click Microsoft SQL Server 2005, and then click Change.
- In the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Maintenance dialog box, click Workstation Components, and then click Next >.
- In the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Setup dialog box, click Next >.
- On the System Configuration Check page, click Next.
- Click Change Installed Components, expand Client Components, click Legacy Components, and then click Will be installed on local hard drive.
- Click Next >, and then follow the steps to finish installing SQL Server 2005.
