SYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario. You use the Microsoft BizTalk Adapter 2.0 for mySAP Business Suite to send a Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 or Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 request for a remote function call (RFC). You send the request to an SAP server. In this scenario, you may receive an error message that resembles the following: The adapter failed to transmit message going to send port "sap://AS:SAP123/00/010/". It will be retransmitted after the retry interval specified for this Send Port. Details: "SAP .Net connector is not installed". CAUSEThis issue can occur if one of the following conditions is true: - The Microsoft BizTalk Adapter v2.0 for mySAP Business Suite\Bin folder does not contain a component that corresponds to the RFC call.
Note When the BizTalk Adapter 2.0 for mySAP Business Suite creates a schema for an RFC function, it also creates a corresponding component with the same name in the Microsoft BizTalk Adapter v2.0 for mySAP Business Suite\Bin folder. - The SAP .NET Connector assembly is not installed in the global assembly cache folder.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, verify that the RFC component is in the Microsoft BizTalk Adapter v2.0 for mySAP Business Suite\Bin folder. Additionally, verify that the SAP .NET Runtime is installed and that the SAP .NET Connector assembly is installed in the global assembly cache folder.
