Error message when you try to deploy the Sybari Enterprise Manager DeploymentAgent program: "The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open" (917483)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to deploy the Sybari Enterprise Manager DeploymentAgent program on a computer that is running Sybari Antigen, you receive the following error message:
Failed to deploy the Agent. Reason: The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, rename the Pushinstaller.exe file. Then, try to deploy the DeploymentAgent program. To rename the Pushinstaller.exe file, follow these steps:
  1. On the computer that is running Sybari Antigen, click Start, click Run, type %windir%\temp in the Open box, and then click OK.
  2. In the Windows Temp folder, right-click PushInstaller.exe, and then click Rename.
  3. Rename PushInstaller.exe to PushInstaller.old.

    Note Generally, you cannot remove the PushInstaller.exe program. However, you can rename this program.
  4. Retry the DeploymentAgent deployment operation.
