INTRODUCTION This article describes the fact that you cannot use double-byte
characters in your password in Groove.MORE INFORMATIONGroove Workplace 2.x and Groove Virtual Office 3.x use the
Microsoft Input Method Editor (IME) to provide support for double-byte
character sets, such as kanji (Japanese) or Hangul (Korean). Because IME
displays characters as the characters are constructed, IME is not secure. Therefore, IME is
automatically disabled when password masking is invoked. You must use
Latin characters for your password.REFERENCES
