INTRODUCTION

This article describes how to remove your Groove identity information from the Groove public directory.

MORE INFORMATION

If you have your Groove contact information published in the public Groove directory, anyone who uses Groove and who has Internet access can view your contact information. If you do not want the public to have access to your contact information, you can remove the listing from the Groove public directory.

To remove the listing in Groove Virtual Office 3.x, follow these steps:
  1. On the Options menu, click Preferences, and then click the Identities tab.
  2. Under List me in, click No Listing in the groove.net public directory list.
To remove the listing in Groove Workspace 2.x, follow these steps:
  1. Click Go To, click My Account, and then click the Identities tab.
  2. Under List me in, click No Listing in the groove.net public directory list.
If you want to be listed in the Groove public directory, but you do not want additional information such as your company, address, and telephone number associated with your identity, click Name Only instead of No Listing in the groove.net public directory list.
