You cannot multi-select bills and deposits on the Bills summary screen in Money 2006 (916915)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Money 2006, you cannot multi-select bills and deposits on the Bills summary screen. You cannot see the Current and After balances.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because the Current and After balances only appear when the Money file is set up together with online bill pay services. The multi-selection feature has changed to check boxes that are only available for bills that are paid through an online pay service or when you write a check.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, use one of the following methods:

Set your account up for online services together with billpay. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

Use Forecast cash flow to view the Current and After balances. However, you cannot use this workaround to select specific bills. You will see all the bills for a specific time period.
Revert to an earlier version of Money.
