Error message when you try to reactivate (switch to) a terminal services session in which Excel is running: "Not enough system resources to display completely" (916592)

SYMPTOMSYou run Microsoft Office Excel 2003 in a terminal services session in full-screen mode. You then click the Minimize button to minimize the terminal services session while Excel accomplishes a task, such as opening several workbooks or running a macro. When you try to reactivate (switch to) the terminal services session in which Excel is running, you receive the following error message: Not enough system resources to display completely. WORKAROUNDTo work around this issue, use one of the following methods. Method 1: Disconnect the terminal services sessionTo disconnect the terminal services session, click the Close button. When you are ready to reconnect to the session, log on to the terminal services session.
Note When you disconnect a terminal services session, the session continues to run. Method 2: Change the terminal session window into a regular window Click the Restore Down button to change the terminal session window into a regular window. The Restore Down button is the middle of the three buttons in the upper-right corner of the window. As soon as the session is in a regular window, you can switch away from the window and switch back to the window when you have to.
Note To switch away from a window or to switch back to a window, press ALT+TAB.
