The value None is displayed for the date and for the time in the Modified box when you use the Advanced Find feature in Outlook 2003 (916517)

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Advanced Find feature in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 to locate items, the value None is displayed for the date and for the time in the Modified box. This behavior occurs when you work in Cached Exchange Mode.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because of a limitation in Search Folders in Outlook 2003.

RESOLUTION

How to obtain the hotfix

This issue is fixed in the Outlook 2003 post-Service Pack 2 Hotfix Package that is dated March 22, 2006. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

Note This hotfix does not resolve this problem in existing Search Folders or data. To resolve the problem in an existing Search Folder, you must modify the Advanced Find parameters for the search. Or, perform a new search to requery the Search Folder.
