SYMPTOMSWhen you try to use a Microsoft Bluetooth device or a keyboard on a built-in Bluetooth
transceiver in a portable computer, the devices are not detected.CAUSEThis behavior occurs when there is an incompatible transceiver or an incompatible Microsoft Bluetooth stack.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this behavior, contact the manufacturer of the portable computer to see whether their transceiver works with the Microsoft Bluetooth stack. Additionally, ask the manufacturer how to add devices by using the Microsoft Bluetooth stack. You may have to use the Microsoft transceiver to resolve this behavior. If the portable computer that you are using is running Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2), the
system detects the transceiver and then installs the Microsoft Bluetooth stack. Typically, this behavior occurs when the third-party stack is removed. If you are using a Toshiba portable computer, visit the following Toshiba Web site to obtain a utility to help with this process:
